Could be sold to Milan for a loss or even put on loan.

Shocking really isn't it. If you'd told me that then I would have said you were mad. Tis football though. Gotta take the rough with the smooth. We'll win it again. Not sure if it will be in my lifetmie though.

TB;
He got 9 goals and 5 assists in 21 games. So it's not baseless is it. Your is.
Care to point out why you think his legs have gone. I'd love to know as he still breaks 7 miles per game.

Gerrard was and still is a class player,but even the most ardent Liverpool supporter must see that he isn't the marauding box to box player he was 4-6 years ago.His recovery rate after a lung busting run is longer than the past which is understandable and playing 3 games week in week out is now out of the question.
He still is a major influence in games for you,simply by who he is and the one or two touches of class he can produce in a gamet .He's 32 now and the type of player he is it's almost inevitable that he will not be able to influence a game as once hwe was able to.If he was a similar type of player as Pirlo or Xavi then aging legs would be less of an issue

I feel he is good enough to adpat and already has done in certain aspects. I also think he is asked to play a more conservative role these days.
He had a terrible persistant injury that Dalglish got sorted by giving him surgery during the season before last. He'll be fine and have a strong influence. I think he'll end up a DM.

Hoody - the games changed forever, we've now got to wait for the sugar daddies to get bored, before we've got any chance of getting back to the pinnacle of the English game.
