The pressure of scoring really did get to him I think too!
That lad was a pure nuisance and defenders hated playing against him because he threw himself down too easily! He could head a ball too.

Think he has a second chance at Forest now under WWTB

He performed pretty well for Scunny so I'd imagine if he goes anywhere it would be back there and not back here as he probably still has nightmares thinking about his time with us!

Joe fu@king Garner. I've heard it all now. First we get all the JR haters (i agree he needs to work harder) and then want garner back.
Totally ineffective light weight player who if I'm right scored a few goals for Scunny which were mostly pens and not from open play.
Which one is it guys. Someone who given the service can score goals or someone who looks busy just cos he runs around a bit.
Both hipacritical and contradictory

Don't want Garner back, don't even talk about Bogdanovic and don't really want Rhodes, only as a no2 to learn his trade off and maybe tell him straight not to be such a lazy git....... Cos it certainly don't look like Lee Clark or Peter Clark tells him. He wouldn't have lasted two minutes in my teams, everybody would end up arguing with him.

I would have Garner back. I don't think he's amazing but he offers a lot to a team in this league and was great for us until the goal monkey really started to get on his back. He was amazing first game of the season and away at Rochdale he was the only player who turned up!
Bogdanovic would be a terrible signing but I don't think we'll sign him anyway. Even though I don't, and Sheff U fans don't rate him, his wages mean if he goes anywhere it would be to the Championship. Alan Lee is the man I'm tipping to do the business up front this season, if we play to our strengths and bomb balls in the box from the wide areas.

Agree terrier. I think he could a good job with crosses coming in from the byline rather than Roberts and Pilkington constantly cutting back inside.
It may make Rhodes a bit more aware with a target man to make runs off. We shall see. I'd still prefer to give Rhodes some genuine competition. David Nugent would be ideal for me

Nugent signed a 3 year contract with Leicester last week...
