Murray will be in striking distance to become world no. 3.
Nadal withdraws!

I think Nadal needs to bow out early of US Open and Murray get to final to stand a chance of overtaking....where's summerblues when you need him

I suspect Nadal's season is already pretty much over
I have a feeling his season is going to be reminiscent of 09

yes, lots of similarities. Sod thrashed Nadal and then Nadal did not win anything until French.
And this has taken the same route, since his loss to Rosol.

Bold title - surprised it wasn't moderated, could be libellous.

HB, you are talking like v2 guys. You think lawyers are going to tennis forums and looking for libellous claims?

You can alert a mod and then they will probably take down this article.

Nadal did not even filed a libel suit against canal tv and you think he will be filing a case against me . Anyway I have changed the title as I don't have a proof so what you say is right in a way.
It seems you are posting on all the forums.

Heh. I bumped my hot summer thread where I discuss the point differentials. There are too many tournaments to be played between now and the USO to discuss the possibilities in detail, but I tend to agree with this. Unless Andy massively outperforms Rafa in Cincy and Canada (not impossible, but not a given) he will need to gain a lot of points at the USO.
