So what happens if evra gets Injured? Do you not think it sensible to have a good quality LB available to come in as Evra is 32 now and wont be able to play every game.

Also a player that can hit a corner and a freekick would be nice - haven't had a consistent one since Beckham.

Gawa – I wouldn’t get too excited about baines set pieces – we were told the same thing about young and we have still been totally ineffective from corners

Told? i have seen baines set pieces and they are much better than what we have.

That’s what they said about ashley young – we just seem to have a knack of turning good set pieces takers into average ones. Considering the number of corners we create in games because of the way we play it’s a sin to be such and impotent attacking threat at them

Have alwasy rated his set peices as one of the top in the league - didnt with young, nani or ronaldo.
