Revised formation for next year

Now the Lucas deal seems to be in limbo, assuming we don't sign him and RVP comes, the formation for next season should be:

De Gea
Vidic
Carrick
Valencia Anderson Kagawa Young
Nani Rooney RVP Welbeck

There we go Paul, talk about United on there, like all City fans on ja606 do, leave the United board to us

On a serious note PPLF, when are City going to sign some players, and who are you going to sign?

United are hard to gage at the moment, because it depends who we bring in. But Chelsea have strengthened considerable and on paper appear to be as strong as you.

Obviously being champions makes you favourites but sitting back on the same squad isn't a good idea and I'd expect you to make a couple of big signings.

We only really need a back up centre half, care in the community Savic is clearly not the answer and we could do with a winger but no big signings are needed or expected

I think Balotelli will have a big season and Tevez is Tevez but I really do think a big signing would give you some impetus going in to the new season. We've sat back on our laurels before as champions and it doesn't always work.

Keeping this squad together will only improve us it's up to utd & Chelsea to stop us.You need to buy more than anyone in the CM area

goal difference and a united collapse separated us last season. If you don't buy and progress and others do i don't think your current squad is going to have it easy defending the title. I just find it strange that a team that has splashed the cash has suddenly stopped. surely their will be some signings?

We dropped many points through being tactically inept away from home,a situation that was finally addressed at the end of the season. That was more important than new players

we'll see then. not criticising, just know from experience that standing still can be costly. you're right though, addressing issues from last year combined with the knowledge that you have done it before could be the difference. looking at the fixtures i expect you and London blue to hit the ground running and it's how close we can stay in the early stages that will define our season.
