Whose the guy on 606 that doesn't want M'vila but Coquelin? according to this article he has his wish

I don't see the need the for M'Vila I'm not sure how much he'll add to the team. Plus, to quote a much maligned Wengerism, signing him will 'kill' Coquelin. The Coq will be an important player for us this season, you can bank on that. He's more of a defensive than M'Vila and arguably just as, if not more, talented. My opinion anyway.

The only issue with Coq is his height. Defensively minded midfielders generally have to aerially protect against the long ball or you have to ask one of your central defenders to come into the midfield to head away opposing goal kicks which of course leaves your defense slightly exposed.
This is the problem we had with Flamini.
The problem is getting players of our wage bill. I think we will go back for M'Vila if we sell someone. Trying to sign Song to a new contract will be difficult.

What about Makelele? He wasn't exactly tall!

What about Makelele?
----------------------------
And he wasn't tested in Spain, long balls are very specific to England. He had one of most dominant center backs in the air behind him at Chelsea. He did have issues here, even with Maureens defensive formations.
Think back to Flamini and our issues with Senderos.
Song isn't very tall but he is good in the air. I doubt we can offer the type of money wants. Thats why Wenger wants a replacement this year while Song is still here. It takes a year to settle in that position. The problem is that we couldn't even sell Denilson.

Yeh, Song will be hot property next year! I can see him leaving.
