I find it funny that when it comes to the gossip columns, spurs and arsenal are mentioned going for the same player...have wenger and AVB got some kind of bet on as to who can win the race for each player they're linked with?

Agents generate 75% of the rumours. Often they leave it as a club in North London, so Arsenal and Spurs are often confused.

Spurs were a far more counter attacking team than we were last year. God knows how AVB will play. So reporters are tending to confuse targets between Arsenal and Spurs.

I think youll find Spurs is a scoutless club, and there scouts consist of a small chap sitting on a PC on the AFC gossip column, hitting refresh every five minutes. Soon as a player is linked with AFC, the week later Spurs want him.

I think we were linked to Remy this time last year, last transfer window IIRC, didnt happen then, wont happen now IMO.
