Here we are in the middle of the transfer window, not even in August yet and some posters on here just keep repeating the same old drivel.
For the first time in many years we have stability and owners who have said that they can compete for players. We already have Borini, with BR stating that work is ongoing with regards to some other potential signings.
The bad news is that without CL football and the owners (very correct) wish for us to be a self supporting sustainable club, it is difficult to get the best players. It is almost impossible to get those who are only money orientated due to the distorted wages that some other clubs sometimes offer.
I think it was Wenger who said a few years ago (sic) "If we want a player we first check to see if Chelsea are also after him, if they are we move on".
Sigurdsson had his head turned by money. I for one want players who want to play for the shirt not the dollar. BR wants the right players for the system WITH the right attitude.
So far I am delighted with what is happening at Liverpool and if I have just one small gripe - please move on with the Anfield redevelopment soon.
So the whingers, particularly Aggers and Shortlight, please change the record and give the new regime a chance.

more the results rather than performances. the performances were very good up until after the loss to arsenal in March. Then we just stopped giving a monkeys as the league season was over.

Fred bassett, were in the champions league and lost the league on goal difference. I'm not overly concerned at not winning anything for the first time in like 6 years.
And this is nothing to do with utd, this is about spurs and atm they have to be seen as a better options for players than liverpool.

If (when) Modric goes I can see them struggling to recreate previous seasons form to be honest.
Unless they find another like him as a replacement.

A good squad player for the price we paid. A handy player to have in reserve for me.
It was a badly timed tackle, but for the poo-squat-flop to feel the need to slate him via the media is a bit pathetic. Bale is a diver and tries to get opponents booked and sent off. He pulled out of the Olympics due to 'injury', so my feelings of sympathy have quickly diminished.
The poo-squat-flop needs to keep his ginger bearded gob shut and focus on his job rather than bashing Charlie Adam and his former employees.

Lets go with the last few years, and where the clubs presently stand. Spurs, finished last season in the top four. Have been top 5 for the last 3 years. Im sorry but they have been better than you. You canrt deny that nor that they have a better squad atm.
