I don't think I have said it was a retweet. On this thread or another I earlier discussed how his reply was in two parts.

Lets replace the word choc ice with the word 'negro' and see how Rio comes across.

Now, would you say that Rio is tweeting his disgust at the original comment or commending it... Hell, even laughing at it.

Whether you want to take a zero tolerance approach or look at context, Rio is guilty.

Negro and choc-ice don't have the same meaning. Pointless comparison.

Now let's replace the word Chocice with Stripper. Or replace it with Puppy. Or how about another word. Replacing the word would also mean a different response. So your argument there is 'invalid'

I take your point, however, a reweet without comment is endorsement. A retweet with affirmation is endorsement.

I must say thank you to TOOR for putting me straight in that RF didn't retweet. I knew what RF's tweet said but I mistakenly thought he added a retweet. Bearing in mind he didn't retweet, then the FA have charged him based on his own words which amount to him agreeing with the tweet he was responding to, so the charge if anything is stronger.

The point was that he endorsed the tweet - if you think the term 'choc-ice' is equivalent to puppy then this debate is lost on you
