DAgger

Protecting him from injury as he is not up to speed?

Do we beleive this? I will stay positive and say Yes, it kind of makes sense. God I hope so.

i hope so he's easily our best defender. I heard rumours it was Skrtel moving not Agger??

He's one of the best defenders in the world. After Alonso's departure he was the only one capable of linking the defence and midfield. When he didn't play we played BADLY!!

I might be wrong, but I seem to remember Agger being one of the first back from the Euros, right at the start of the USA tour? In which case you'd hope he'd be 'up to speed' by now.

But, that said, with his injury record it makes sense not to put him on a long haul flight to the back end of nowhere to get kicked off the park by a team who wouldn't look out of place in League 2:P

So hopefully, this is as it seems, and not a cover story for an imminent departure. Quite frankly, this guy is a class above any other defender at the club, and imo, Skrtel only looks good next to him, otherwise he reverts to the pannicky hoof ball that we all hated for so long.
