WHERE ARE THEY??

So Friday BR mentions he hopes to have a signing or 2 sorted in the next couple of days......that was 2 days ago. So by tomorrow we should have either allen or ramirez or dempsey or both or all three and msybe a loanie or two.

Two weeks till kick off and STILL only 1payer in while 3 have left....i would of thought they would have signed them by now; is something wrong??

I wouldn't want Adebayor as I think he's a bit of an arrogant so and so.

KLS there has already been plenty of transfer activity.

- United have strengthen
- Spurs have
- Arsenal have and will possibly add 2 more today
- Chelsea most definently have
- QPR have
- Villa have
--------------------------------------------
- united have signed Kagawa. who looks a good player and powell, who is 18 and won't figure much. One player in!

- arsenal ave signed players in an attempt to keep RVP, if he leaves they'll be no stronger in the goal scoring stakes!

- Chelsea always out spend most so I don't see how they have any bearing on us!

- Spurs have signed one player in Sigurdsson, who we refused to meet the financial package and Vertonghen. They've lost king, Adeabayor, Saha and nelson. They have one striker in Defoe and are not as strong as last season, especially if Modric leaves.

-Qpr? if we'd signed anyone of the players that have signed for them you and alot of others ould be going ape shìt. They will just avoid relegation and why you've mentioned them is stupid!

- Aston villa? Really!

KLS i was just pointing out that just because we are very quiet in the transfer market other than outgoings plenty of other clubs have strenghen and continue to do so.

Kash

You stated that Spurs have strengthened, when in fact they are much worse off. You also brought Villa and Qpr into it, if your going to mention them. Reading, westham, Southampton and most clubs have signed players.

We have signed a young forward who was at the Euros and let go of 3 players, Aquilani hasn't played for us for 2 years and won't be missed. Kuyt didn't play as much last season, is the wrong side of 30 and his one food point (his engine) has gone, same as maxi. We are better off without those 3 and we will make more signings!

Good point!

Spurs losing pensioners like Saha, Nelson and sicknote King is hardly a big miss. They have 2 strikers in Defoe and VDV and they seem to be the only club that are looking to buy Adeybayor and are waiting for the time when City cut there loses and give them Adeybayor on a deal like we did with Fio for Aqua.

Therefore buying a good CB and MF so far has been good business for Spurs and lets not forget they actually are a top 4 team despite not getting in the CL.

Sure Kuyt and Maxi are in there 30s but they added strength to the squad and team as well as goals and maybe Borini has been bought in to replace Kuyt but we still have numerous areas that need addressing.

Why don't you just wait until Sept 1st before writing pointless articles like this?

VDV is a midfielder, not a striker and you state that Saha and Nelson were pensioners but maxi and Kuyt added strength?

Fred, I'm not suggesting we take him, and he is arrogant, I agree. But that's part of the package isn't it? With his confidence, he seems he has every right to be arrogant, especially with his goal-scoring record. As an aside, Ledley King, for me was one of the best full backs England has produced in recent years. It is very sad indeed to see his retire because of his injuries. I remember watching him when I saw the Reds play at WHL. Masterful, nothing less, we didn't get a look in. jimmyTheRed

I heard he was even better a centreback.
