Deal will probably be done when Bates has done enough damage to the club for this season.
I still say he is ill and wont last much longer.

Seems like the Fernandez deal all over again. He had a 'deal' to buy the club at a given price and then after being asked to produce proof of funds. which he did, Bates upped the price.
He's a lying, cheating barsteward and needs removing from our club as soon as possible.

Even though he a twisted old g it he must know that the club is likely to be worth less in the future without the investment in the team that he refuses to put in. He must also know that the fans hatred of him will move to new level after this so I don't understand his refusal to sell. If the takeover is dead in the water watch out for some cynical sop to the fans for ticket prices etc. BATES OUT
