Neil Warnock could have easily walked this summer with regards to the way this proposed takeover has dragged on. Yet, with what money he has had, he has bought in 10 new players & is nearly ready for big kick off!
Who blames Snoddy now for jumping ship now?? He talked of false hopes, false promises, etc - Warnock seems to have been told the same. We can all guess why takeover talks have broke down but Bates & Harvey won't come out and tell the truth, club statement cleary shows that.
So, lets get behind Warnock and the Boyz and lets hpow we have a good season. There is still a week left to bring in those attcking options, with no money to buy big, the following would do nicely:
Diouf - free, add some fight alongside Austin
Heskey - free, add some strenght that Beccio seems to be lacking
Owen - free, will be out fox in tne box if we can pull it off
Kewell - free, add some flair to the wings
Lawance - free, could chip in with some goals throught season
In Warnock we trust!!!
Hats off to Warnock, now roll on season!!

Would he have got them 10 players if he did not sell AC and RS?
Diouf is the one.

At least someone is trying to put a POSITIVE spin on the situation. God, I would hate to work with some of the negative people that frequent these rooms.
We must of course remember that there are a lot of people on this forum that have indeed the knowledge and experience to manage Championship clubs. They know how to form a team and what kind of football they want their players to adhere to. They have been on all the coaching courses and attained their FA coaching badges.
So despite the fact that some very well know ex Leeds players have not been able to manage Leeds succussfully (even though they played under Don) these experienced Forum Members are well placed to take over when NW leaves.
I feel good all over safe in the knowledge that we have some of the greatest football managers on this forum ready to step up to the plate.
The future's bright, the future's JA606 Manager !
C'mon you Leeds MOT

Agree with Jonty that signing up Diouf seems to be an act of sheer desperation. Diouf - FFS!
Agree with Eric and Buntingford that there's too much negativity on these boards - but after everything, I'm not going to complain about it now.
But I'm gutted about todays news, wondering whether its all part of a Bates ploy to fluck with our heads, ready to resign myself to another season of disappointment
BUT
I am a Leeds fan of 40 odd years and have no choice but to look forward to the coming campaign with as much hope as I can scrape together!
Onwards, and dare I say it, upwards!
