Some players still gaining match fitness
Not our strongest first 11 (a fully fit diouf will be worth his weight in gold teeth)
Natural right back playing centre half
Anybody who thinks that game was an easy game knows nothing about football. Every single day folk come on here and spout the same negative ćrepé!!
Saturday's game was new territory for all but white, Ross and Becchio.
When we were in league one we beat man u, pushed Liverpool and drew with spurs. Shrews are no joke, so to disrespect them is poor form.
Why don't you gloom merchants ever supplement your ee-ore sequence diatribe with positive things as well??
Eg The team was on the backfoot for the 1st 15 or so minutes, but we can expect that with this team of new boys.
To score 4 goals like we did was a decent achievement, to come up against a side with mOmentum and spirit and win by four goals at this stage in the team's development is a positive sign if things to come.
We have no money so cannot buy fancy names, so moaning about ambition is pointless.
I swear some of you are imposters from other clubs who just wanna take the pisch!!

Paddy Kenny was outstanding, bar one spill. Byram very assured and Varney involved in everything. The lads did well to say they've only been together 5 minutes.

The reality is that there has been nothing said about a takeover from the club and the ones that actually knows anything about it. The only think that has been confirmed is that there have been talks about an investment
Of cause I would love it to be a takeover, but I’m not going to read in to things that is not there
As for the team it looks ok and the preseason has been good, but we have not been tested yet. So I will reserve my rights to come back on this in about 5 to 10 game. And if you can make those 5 to 10 game wins it would have been perfect

Wolves are twice the side Shrewsbury are yet ur all getting boners over our 4-0 win. 2 of our goals were total howlers 1 was a mistake and the other was a penalty. Jus calm down guys these are in the league below and we were at ER

But we were there to take advantage of these things, this wasn't always the case last season.
According to stats throughout the game, never once did we have the majority of possession, Shrewsbury deserve credit, they were no pushover.
