As I've been saying, I think it's fair that we give this lad a good chance to prove himself before we start judging and criticising him.

Remember Evra's debut against City? He had a nightmare that day but soon enough got to grips with the Premier League, hopefully Buttner can do the same.

He really impressed me - still don't think he could do it every week though or in the champions league. Nani and Valencia still had chances to devliver and make telling contributions but failed.

he has been doing it for the last 2 years. Keep an eye out, the best performance I ahve seen him put in was at SB last season, he tore the Chelsea side apart.

i know its only youtube but the kid looks good going forward, and unlike evra can cross the ball and knows how to score.

Look at this video, he's a great dribbler and he has a lethal left foot. Very crisp crossing too.

People were doubting Lindergaard (Including Schmeical ) And he's a decent enough back up!

I have always rated Baines. One of the very few mid-bottom table players I wouldn't mind at ot. Why some people say he is average is beyond me. He is very good and mr consistent.
