I'll have to admit that I really didn't think that Aqualani had it in him but after watching his performance today i've seen what rafa must of seen in him, he makes the play flow and gets the ball from defence to attack very quick with killer through balls, the guy was obviously flowing with confidence seeing as he nearly scores from the half way line!
So a lot of Liverpool fans are saying I always knew he was good etc but lots of people were calling for him to offloaded the only person I can remember off my head that Aggers Right Elbow was the only guy who stated out loud that Aqualani should stay and was one of our best midfielders.
So I just thought I'd ask where do you see Aqualani playing next year and where would he be in pecking order for central midfield?

Said it in previous articles (and on several occasions too) Aqualani should NOT be sold.
He is our "Jamie Redknapp" type of player.
He is in my opinion better than Meireles.

He's the sort of player to grab the play and drive it forward he does that job better than Meireles IMO.

Agreed Lucas was our best last Season.
But, Aqualani was also the best last Season as well !
I just think that there'll be more creativity with this side.
Lucas would easily make the bench, though!

I wouldn;t drop Lucas for love nor money. Players like Aquilani won;t be able to control games if a player like Lucas isn;t winning us the ball behind him!

Can say what you like but from the moment we signed him I have backed him. He has always been a quality player and the only people who said otherwise were WUM's and a very small number of our own fans, which you have included yourself in.

Not a small number, I've seen many saying on the old and current 606 that we should cash in on him and use him for swap deals. I know some of you have backed him but all I said was off the top of my head I can only really remember Agger's Right Elbow stating publically that he rated Aqualani.
