No doubt an excellent player, but if he could have kept himself off the treatment table we wouldn't have gone down. I reckon he'll go to Milan, they got Pazzini but they still need another striker. Villarreal have Cavenaghi.

I can understand the player's predicament, but how unlucky are Villarreal too - set to lose millions on the player.
Said it then, Cazorla was what the yanks call the club's "franchise player". Should never have chosen to sell him ahead of Rossi. All else aside, he and Capdevila (who left two) were two of the club's biggest dressing-room influences.
Aware of his brace vs Castilla, but haven't seen Cavenaghi in action yet. Where'd you get him?
P.S. El Submarino Amarillo is still in Segunda B, missed out on promotion in the playoff final vs the guys you just beat. Shame, would've been great to see them face the impostors.

Cavenaghi was signed from River Plate, after he had a phenomenal record for them, albeit in the Argentinian second tier.
