Well after the RFFF and the Ibrox sell out now comes the acid test for the Rangers fan base and the plan that Charles Green has been working all along, and to be fair he is playing the game well of keeping the fans on side.
After the initial hesitation it seems that fans have bought into The Rangers FC machine and are at one with the club and true to his plan Green will float the club on the stock market for shares to be purchased in The Rangers FC.
This wave of euphoria that surrounds the club suggests that the man who put in £5.5m of his consortium's cash will make a fair bit more than that assuming this swell of support continues.
"RANGERS chief executive Charles Green has revealed he aims to unveil his plans to float the club on the stock market "in the next couple of weeks".
And he expressed confidence that, in spite of delays during the summer in securing Scottish Football Association membership for the newco Rangers, the flotation would be "done before the end of this year". "

Couple of questions then - this was the way Green envisaged the club moving forward and surviving. Is he correct and will the fans back him financially with the share issue?
Celtic fans generated £21m in cash from the sale of Fergus's shares and further to this has a subsequent sale of £15m (half underwritten by Dermott)
In todays much more difficult financial market what should be expected of a Rangers share issue?
