Burton 1 - 3 Derby

May aswell get the ball rolling....

first pre season fixture today, the Rams getting off to a winning start always nice even though the score doesnt really matter at this stage!

for those that went, any early signs which were encouraging ?? any early signs there were not so encouraging ??

Myself, i thought the stand out performer and who impressed me most was Craig Bryson! Looked very comfortable on the ball, always wanting it (even on the edge of our 18 yard box) and looked very positive. Looks like he can do box to box aswell, impressive.

Another who impressed me was Ben Davies. It is clear to see now, and what we all said last season is that he is a central player, you could see that by a mile today. Playing just in front of the 2 central midfield players and in behind the strikers, thats where you'll get the best out of him. Looked a totally different player compared to when he first signed, probably because he was being played out of position! Cracking free kick.

Lastly, Adam Legdzins a number 2 ?? Bladdy nora, i know he didnt have much to do but just to look at him he looks every bit capable of being an number 1. Frankie will certainly start as number one but i think this lad will be pushing him all the way going on what i saw today!
