Well, from what I listened to tonight we were very unlucky to lose, yet again costly errors in defence let us down.... Especially Stephen Dawson's attempt at whatever it was he was trying to do when passing it back along the 18 yarder for their third goal!
We certainly gave Swansea a game tonight and can be proud of our efforts. If take that kind performance into Saturday and beyond then we'll be fine. But, we all know that Barnsley are very Jekyll and Hyde when it comes to performing at a consistent level!!
Curiously, Barnsley Player are adamant that Marlon got Barnsley's goal, while every other source credit it to Sir Bobby... Quite how you get those two mixed up is beyond me!

Against a team who smashed QPR and West Ham in their first two games, I think we can be relatively satisfied with the fact that we showed some decent attacking endeavour, and were the width of a crossbar away from clawing ourselves back into a tie that was seemingly lost. And there's the fact that Swansea's first goal conceded this season was from Sir Bobby of all people Against a lesser team we would no doubt have fared better result-wise, but we can have no shame especially looking at how the likes of Leicester, Ipswich, Stoke etc. got on tonight.
The real question is can we show the same spirit against Bristol City on Saturday, obviously before we go 2-0 down! A win before the international break and everything will be looking rosy, a draw or loss and I fear certain doubters who have already 'surfaced' (pun fully intended, you know who I mean) will go to town on the fact we're not top of the league after 4 games. As if it matters where anyone is after 4 chuffing games.
I'm not going to go down the classic route of 'oh well we need to concentrate on the league anyway mickey mouse cup blah blah', as a cup run would've done the club good. But it's no biggie. Great credit to the travelling fans tonight as well, I'm glad they at least had something to cheer with our Bob's goal.

No doubt you will return after the next game to complain about Hill/ the team (if we lose), the attendance figures (if we win/ draw) and the fact that Don Rowing is a very bad man who cant run the place and comes round to steal your socks in the night (no matter what the result) .
Unlike JamesTyke I actually believe that you are a Barnsley fan, but in my opinion you are the pessimistic type of fan that drives a number of potential reds supporters away with your endless stream of poison regarding the club and how we are all doomed.
