Dembele is a quality player who will improve them significantly. Why we did not take a gamble on him at the mere price of £15m is quite frankly scandalous. In one swoop we would have had a CM better than Essien (pains me to say it), Meireles, Benayoun and even Mikel (and I rate him). Dembele would have been the perfect replacement for Lampard.
This is as disappointed I've been re: a signing since Silva/Aguero.
I guarantee Chelsea and United will live to regret not going for him.
Let's be honest with our Belgian connections and higher pedigree as a club if it's down to us or Spurs Dembele is choosing us without a moment's hesitation.

you're over-reacting
i like Dembele but being honest he's struggled with injuries and consistency. i'll also say that, good player as he is he ain't a patch on Modric who Spurs have just lost
and i thought we already had Oscar to replace Lampard
imho don;t think we've missed out here that much, he;s clearly a talented player but not THAT talented
