Excellent business. Dembele has a 15 million buy out clause. The fee for Nani is being quoted around the 25 million mark and reports are that Arsenal would allow Walcott to leave for 12million if he fails to agree a new deal. It's just so perfect.
The words on any Nani based United gravestone will be "on his day, excellent". But as many of you acknowledge, those day's do not come around enough. They are, in truth, no where near frequent enough. His performances are summed up by his long range shooting ability - it's sometimes a hit but generally shi..... not very good.
Now, I will leave it to you to pick over the merits of the 2 players, but one of the arguments about selling Nani, was it may leave us light on the right. I don't agree as Kagawa can play there and obviously Valencia can too but signing a good, cheaper, English replacement would keep the numbers up.
We also have the fact that he is familiar with Van Persie's game and they would provide a pre formed understanding.
There have been many Dembele articles, so I hope you will accept the slight twist on this one.
The bottom line remains though - 2 players in for 27 million and one inconsistent one out for about the same... it must be excellent business, it must be done.

Firstly thanks for the replies, the article was designed to provoke discussion and thought.
If you think Dembele is average, you need to really look again. 15 million is a fair price too.
Nani's contract talks have stalled, for a long time. You need to look as the possibility he may well be going.
I know Nani is a better player that Walcott.
For the boys who posted, "lets sell Valencia and Rooney too and buy Bendtner and Bentley" don't be silly. I am not really advocating the sale, I just really think it is something you need prepare yourself for, potentially .
