There are unconfirmed reports arising from Italy stating that former Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero is considering an offer from Scottish champions Celtic.
The veteran 37-year-old striker is currently a free agent after his latest contract with the Turin-based club expired back in June.
Last season Del Piero helped Juve take the Serie 'A' title for the first time in nine years and remain unbeaten throughout their entire league programme.
However, Swiss outfit Sion, who have recently recruited ex-Milan and Rangers warhorse Gennaro Gattuso, have already claimed they are in negotiations with the former World Cup winner.
Meanwhile, English side Tottenham Hotspur have similarly been linked with the ageing but mercurial Italian maestro.

He was my absolute hero when I was a young lad, pre-Larsson of course... Posters all over my room of this guy when I was a nipper.... Sign him up, even if he doesn't kick a ball for us, just get him signed and get him in the hoops at press conference haha
