TEAM RONALDO

From "He never scores against Barcelona" to "He always scores against Barcelona.
Ronaldo's record in the last 6-7 El Classico's is impeccable. Completely shut the critics up with his performances.
Arsenal fans on here would be so annoyed. The manner in which they hide behind Barcelona and City to gain an upper hand over us is laughable at best inspite of them being the feeder club to both of them. Can't wait for one member of their clan to come out with "Messi is blah blah blah." As if Messi was ever their long lost child who was adopted by Barcelona and they eagerly await his return to the Emirates just like they show in movies.
I predict Madrid (As much as I hate them) to win the la liga inspite of their poor start as they have a stronger squad than Barca and a better manager. No doubt Ronaldo is winning Balloon D'Or this year.
GET HIM ON A PLANE, BRING HIM BACK FROM SPAIN. VIVA RONALDO VIVA RONALDO !!!!!!! (Get Jose with you too)

Paul, Madrid and Xavi?
---

Pride: Madrid because that's where both my parents were born, because I was brought up to support them and because I lived in the city for about 25 years.

Xavi out of pure admiration for his game, and also admittedly because I'm Spanish and he's been the key figure in bringing the national team so much success.

The Paul bit is what Pepe said in the dressing room after his knock with Casillas in our league opener vs Valencia ("Me llamo Pablo, ¿qué hago aquí". Didn't even know who he was. Complete pyscho the guy, but he was good last night.

What part of north London does your user name refer to then?

RVP was bigger than the club arsenal

Fair play, Paul. That was brilliant.

Was the OP in this article intending to be ironic by wedging his tongue firmly between the ass crack of Ronaldo?

And seeing as Messi and El Classicos are being discussed, Messi has scored 14 El Classico goals, this is only 1 behind the all time record.

And also, not all Arsenal fans like Barca or City for that matter. I actually hate them both. I try to respect United but it is difficult when they have so many fans with misplaced arrogance such as the OP.

I would love Ronaldo to win the Ballon D'Or just to wind up the Messi fanboys who are obsessed with him. But then I realise that the United fans here would claim it as some sort of moral victory.

Correction: He's Barça's top scorer in clásicos outright, but his 15th last night equals Raúl as 2nd in the all time list. Di Stefano still tops the list with 18...for now.

Pride, also, I'd just add that I try not to let my support of Madrid get in my way of the pure enjoyment of watching good football. In that sense, there are plenty of former Barça players I'd include in my list of all-time favourites, starting with Maradona.
