Could Anders Lindegaard be number 1?

I changed the article about Sneidjer as it is becoming a very boring topic. I will put it on my other article. Now for the new 1:

I know De Gea is a super talent and most likely will become a world class keeper. He is certainly one of the best young keepers in the world at just 20. We would not have spent 18.9m on a 20 year old nobody. He has been touted as one of the best. However, a big however, is that he can't speak English and he is very, very young for the keeper. Anders can speak fluent English and he has impressed me with some of his displays. Like De Gea his kicking is very good and he seems a very confident motivated keeper. If De Gea slips up, I can see Anders taking his opportunity. I have this feeling that Anders may become our number 1. However, this is a healthy position. The first time in a long time, we will see 2 keepers really fighting it out for the number 1 spot. Something that has not really happened in a while here. Remember, as De Gea is very young, mistakes will be made. So Anders will get his chance.

'Hopefully this will all be over soon.'

My thoughts exactly after I read yet another one of your 'Nolhman Specials'.

I hope he signs, mainly because hes ace, but also because I know after he scores his first 30 yarder, or plays his first massively dominant, Scholes-in-his-prime game for us, you'll be on here, and you'll have to eat your silly negative words about why we shouldnt invest in him.

I think he will sign for United

Lol is this a joke. De Gea is a quality keeper he isn't coming to sit on the bench. He is 100% certain to be your number one.

Oh, you've changed the article.

No, of course not. De Gea will obviously be our number 1.

I never said he is coming here to sit on the bench. He will be number 1. He cost us 18.9m so of course he is number 1. However, at 20 he will make mistakes and Anders seems a talented keeper. If De Gea does not settle, you never know.

Rooney 19 etc..: "No, of course not. De Gea will obviously be our number 1."

Whilst I daresay he will be given priority initially, I agree with the OP that there is no way he is a cut and dried first choice 'keeper for the foreseeable.
SAF has told Lindegaard that names, reputations, prices, will not matter, and it's up to the players to stake their claim to the position.

Given that Lindegaard is already an experienced club and International player, with perfect command of English and the Scandinavian proclivity to take to English culture like a duck to water - and that he was also VDV's recommendation for replacing him - I think it will be a genuine contest between the two for the position.

I think it's great to have such competition; the only minor drawback being that if/when one GK does establish himself in such a manner, I cannot see the other remaining at OT for too long.
