Maybe a long shot but, surely a bid for one wouldn't be a bad idea, they would certainly improve our striking options

Honestly it is a short term fix but Drogba would be a great signing and perhaps even save us from a goal drought of a season...

Drogba wasn't free when the window was open so we've had that, although I wouldn't say no, either.

Your forgetting that both anelka and drogba will already Rodgers. Anelka as already played for so Not beyond the realms of possibility.

Didier Drogba's management company rubbished reports the striker had been released by Shanghai Shenhua on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for the Sports PR Company, which represents Drogba in the UK, said claims the former Chelsea striker's career in China were over after two and a half months were 'nonsense'.
