Wilshere to Return As 'Damaged Goods'?

Opposition fans are hoping he comes back damaged like Ramsey.
Pretty pathetic and sad really, as he's England's best young talent.

Obviously any long term injury is no joke. But people need to understand there's nothing worse than someone breaking your leg in half. Just ask Eduardo.

You'll pull out of every 50/50 tackles and shrug away from tackles. Basically you'll be hesitant and second guess yourself.
Absolute nightmare.

Thankfully Wilshere didn't break his leg or get maimed, so it should be easier for him to slot back.
Nothing for him to be afraid of.

Wilshere is great, there was rumours he's been sniffing drugs instead of being injured this long. It's probably crap, but looking forward to seeing him play again.

Do you think the Coventry game will come too soon to see him at least take a place on the bench?

Wilshere will be fine, it is expected he will take a season to get back near to his best though. Hope fans won't start slating him if he under-performs similar to ramey, it is unfair.

Looking forward to his return. It'll take him a bit of time to get in back into the swing of things, but he's got natural ability and talent in abundance, you dont just lose that.

I think he's gonna be pushing diary for a starting spot.

With regards to Ramsey, pre injury I think he would've been perfect for artetas role, he was so ferocious going into 50:50's before, I really hope he can regain that this season.

Dubbed, I agree with you that there's no sense in constantly reminding you about it, but it's something that's potentially there, he's been gone a while. It will enter into discussion about the player as long as he isn't playing. It's not like he played 6 years at the top level first to back up his reputation (maybe that will be a good thing in terms of injury recovery though)

Gary o'conner got something like a 2 month ban disguised as an injury for having recreational drugs in his system

For Jack to be out this long with a ban he can only have been taking some of captain america's super serum

We're gonna have one hill of a hero when he's allowed to pay again lads

Chelsea Way
I know. But they put too much emphasis on it. He's a good player.
No one is saying he's a world beater, yet.

Will take him a couple of months of competitive football to get to a good standard I feel. Thankfully there's no great rush for him to start with Diaby, Arteta and Cazorla all on top form and the likes of Coquelin and Ramsey all more than capable of filling in. Sub appearances and League Cup to ease him into things and I'm sure he'll be fine.

Diaby appeareantly injured. Dont count on him

Well it's meant to be precautionary. Tbh it won't surprise me to see Diaby rested in preparation for the Chelsea and City matches, with one of Ramsey and Coquelin in his place at the weekend, and possibly against Montpellier too.
