We live in an age of phony sentimentality, which showed itself at its height, when floods of tears, and a nation wept, over a woman they didnt know, died in a car crash, yet most people dont give a flying fluck about the person who lives just across the street.
Ignorance is no excuse in this day and age, but even less forgivable, is peoples laziness in accepting what they are fed by the media, because it may suit their general approach, and attitude toward certain people, from certain parts of the country.

This happened to a community that is around 30 miles from where you live, involving a sport, that assume you follow quite closely.
Not exactly expecting you to know the details of a malaria outbreak in the sub continent in the late 19th century.

Representatives of the families of the dead, have themselves, on TV, just gave credit to the club, its fans, and the city, as they believe without their support, they would never have gotten to where they are today.

Well they have the right to.

I however will NOT applaud the Anfield crowd because frankly they did feck all. And certainly not some sanctimonius fans who post trash on an Internet forum and expect applause for something they contributed NOTHING for.

I will reserve my applause for those families and friends who really did fight for truth. Who sacrified their lives in the struggle to bring Justice.
