Forget The Wire.
Forget The Sopranos.
Breaking Bad is the BEST tv show ever made and you should DEFINITELY watch it if you've not done so yet.
Oh, and Giroud to score at the weekend

I've been meaning to watch that - seems like a decent show
BBC don't have it on iplayer though which may force me to use other methods
Oh, and check out Suits - I watched the pilot last night, which was about 1h 10mins thinking 'oh no, this is going to be long / maybe boring' - I ended up watching a further 6 episodes back-to-back (40mins each) because it was just that brilliant

Overrated piffle - that BB.
Has nothing on Justified. Bob Crowder > Walter.

Watch series 1-5 and still say that. It's unbelieveably good

Meh!! Besides, it doesn't particularly edify one's soul.
Is Walter as charismatic as Bob Crowder of Justified?
I remember when i gave up on BB was one episode where they were chasing a fly for an entire episode. Almost an hour and a fly was the bedrock of an episode.
Waste of my life.

Yeah there are some filler episodes that I didn't like, but I simply skipped those parts till it got to the real stuff.

Santi- there's so much subtlety to it, but it's all necessary in the grand scheme of things. I don't agree there is any real 'filler' as you put it,
The writing, pacing and character development is so damn good it's something everyone should watch,
Walt isn't supposed to be a 'charismatic' character, he isn't even likeable by season 5, but his gradual change from sympathetic looser-ish chemistry teacher who is way way out of his depth into criminal drug lord is told brilliantly and believeably.
The fly episode was mostly symbolic btw it wasn't actually about a fly.

Yeah, I know it was symbolic Chris, but I thought it was a bit rude for them to devote a whole episode to it.
Most of it is good, but I tended to skip the parts where he was arguing with his wife (which is a LOT) and his kid. It didn't really contribute to the main story.
