Reading the Bolton News the main article is about stopping individual errors. With the best players and teams making errors in all games can you ever stop it? Will any matter of work on this actually make a difference. Zat Knight who has always been highlighted for errors may not stop them regardless. Is time better working on the team as a whole. Defending together, passing etc.
What do you think?
Is it unrealistic?

All players make mistakes and we ahve a decent enough squad this season.. I hope that OC and his backroom staff have been working overtime to tighten things up at the back though...should find out by 5pm

We needed to tighten up at the back 18 months ago and no doubt Owen Coyle has tried everything in his repertoire to do this in 2 pre-seasons since, so I will be very suprised if he has achieved this aim in 14 days.
If something could be done about the vulnerability to crosses, it would be a start but by no means a cure.
The big worry is that Coyle & the Burnley mob have already exercised all their knowledge about defending and we are as good as were going to get.

It's fine words that are the thing about the club that now tire me out. Less talk, more action is needed.
