LUST now have over 8,000 members ......

GBG, my apologies if I implied that you claimed there was one. I just asked you as I know you are knowledgebale and since no one else is answering, I was hoping that you could.

Being a member gives you a chance to air your thoughts and you get mailed updates.

It's really up to you how much you want to try and effect change, if you sign up but then just sit back you probably won't get the most out of being a member.

I assume a large majority of the 8000 are in the same situation as me, i.e. signed up, not paid up and don't go to meetings or contribute, and hence no influence. Therefore you could argue that STHs or LUFC Membership holders are both lathers groups of people. Granted they have no group organisation except through the club themselves but how is that different from my membership of LUST?

It's sad to see how divided our fan base is right now. This appears to be more than just a difference of opinion. Seems to me there's venom in some of the postings...
