Good News...

...Actual Rangers Thread here, just so you're warned.

Sick of seeing, all the Celtic/Turkey/SFA/SPL/Scottish National Team threads on this forum.

Anyway, here is the good news.

Kevin Kyle will not be playing for 2 weeks due to suspension

KEVIN KYLE has been ruled out of next Wednesday’s League Cup clash with Motherwell after his dismissal against Queen of the South on Tuesday night.

The striker was shown a straight red card for an elbow on Doonhamers player Ryan McGuffie just 11 minutes after he had come on as a substitute.
That meant he would automatically miss this Sunday’s home Third Division meeting with Montrose through suspension.
But the SFA has applied a two-match ban after receiving referee Stevie O'Reilly's report and that also sees him sit out the visit of the Steelmen six days from now.
Manager Ally McCoist is already short of attacking options as it is with Andy Little and David Templeton both currently out with injuries.
Losing Kyle for two games rather than one is a further setback and it leaves only captain Lee McCulloch, Fran Sandaza and Kal Naismith as recognised strikers in his squad.
In turn, that could see youngsters such as Callum Gallagher and Jamie Burrows come into contention for promotion from Tommy Wilson’s reserve squad.
Gallagher in particular has begun the season well, scoring in both of the second string’s league wins against Annan and East Fife whilst netting regularly for the under-20 side.

Hopefully Naismith can get a run out in both these games.

He looks a different sort of striker to what we have currently available. i.e. mobile.

Don't really know too much about Gallagher, but Burrows comes highly regarded through the ranks at Auchenhowie.

Agreed.

Maybe even try McKay up front as well as that's his natural position.

Looks like the bears are too busy speaking and obsessing about Neil Lennon and the Champs to even care about Rangers Blue.
