City Sunday

Hi

So what tactic should we play and what players best to deploy said tactics against City on Sunday?

Personally I want Bould to have a word with Wenger and get an ultra defensive, double decker parked outside the goal with all 10 men behind the ball tactic going.

We want to play a slow tempo, passing short and moving it around the back-line as much as possible making their players chase the ball and tire them the funk out.

It would be a massive statement of how far we have come defensively if we can go the whole game without a single shot on goal. That would be something.

Who knows we may even be able to sneak the win.

Thoughts?

Adebayor still gets a wage packet off city every week.

No, he doesn't.

Adebayor will be among the top earners at White Hart Lane, but City will subsidise the 28-year-old's wage, having paid him £175,000 per week.

We should play the same way we always do because we've dominated Mancini's City in all but one game I think. Some managers just have the better of the other and Wenger has that over Mancini, it will be the same tomorrow imo but that doesn't mean we'll win though.

Gervinho is the dogs danglers these days.

Hafijur - City "subsidised" Ade's wages in the respect that they paid him off. Which is completely different to the claim that City are STILL paying a wage to him.

I feel so much better not knowing or seeing Hafijurs ill constructed drivel.

This, there is a reason why his fee was 5m for what would be a fee twice that for him in an open market.

Filtering that pathetic bitter bull merchant was the best decision I have made on here.

Now we can score from set peices, crosses from the wing, players running into the box from the wing and centre and some players scoring out side it.
=====================================
Set pieces - apart from Poldi's freekick against Soton, we only scored against Cologne from a set piece. City are one of the tallest teams in the league, to an extent I'd be more concerned about not conceding from a set piece than scoring from one.
Crosses - I haven't seen a single half decent cross for Giroud to attack in the games he has featured. The chances he's had have been from balls played on the deck. The Ox might be able to put some crosses in, but until now, he hasn't. Here's hoping for a change.
Long shots have been largely wayward until now.
Wide players scoring after coming in - true. I feel this route offers us the best chance to score.
