Here's hoping for a Bangla boys victory

Eng in grp1 looks stronger than the rest. Them and WI will qualify..... so now hoping for pak and Ind to face Eng again in semis and see whether this was a one off

"Aus who beat WI
SA who beat Sri Lanka
Pak who beat NZ
India who beat England"

This is totally stupid, no wonder no one takes this tournament seriously. Why on earth have the put all the winning teams in one group? I'm gutted Aus beat WI now because I'd love to see Aus in group 2.

Is this something to do with trying to make the tournament have a few more twists and turns. It does seem strange that out of the four best team so far in the tournament 2 are guaranteed to go out whereas the poor teams get a much easier route to the semis, what a joke.

duncan dont think so. I grp1 with the teams it has is going to be equally difficult. NZ, WI, Eng, SL are all going to have hard time facing each other.

same as grp 2.... Ind, SA Pak, and Aus will hv equally hard time facing each other.
strongly routing India to maintain this performance and dismantle aussies in the first match.........

India need this team for the rest of the tournament:

Sehwag
Gambhir
Kohli
Sharma
Yuvraj
Raina
Dhoni
Pathan
Harbhajan
Ashwin
Zaheer

4 overs each from Zaheer, Pathan, Ashwin and Harbhajan with the remaining 4 from Yuvraj/Sharma/Kohli

the only thing there pine is, zak and pathan have to give their best for the rest of tournament. SA and Aus will target our pacers and try to score so many.
dont see the use of 7 batsman. Like today raina and yuvi were totally wasted. its better we drop sehwag, who is bound to struggle in this format, and go with 6-5 combination.

Irfan, bhajji and ashwin are capable batsman anyway, and we dont need the luxury of 7 batsman. dats just my opinion. we will never need no.7 batsman to give us a gd total and at most very rarely when we need the no.7 batsman it would be for like an over or so.

its a hard decision. if we go with 4 bowlers, the chances are one of pathan or zak will have a bad day/even both, so going with 2 pacers is plain stupid. ashwin and bhajji seem the pair that will help India's bowling cause.
if we go with 4 bowlers it will be zak, pathan ashwin and bhajji.
if we go with 5 bowlers, who do we drop? sehwag/rohit sharma. both are potential match winners. seems very hard imo.

though I still dont understand our batting line up. after kohli, who comes in? shouldnt it be yuvi whi has the ability to hit 6s at will? and then raina, again can clear boundries at will then dhoni?????? so why is dhoni coming at 5 when he has a very poor sr of 110???? I hope today was just experimantation. we need yuvi and raina to bat at 4 and 5 whatever the situation.

All that has done for the rest of the teams playing against England is get your spinners on as England couldn't cope.

WI who England will playing next ...well they have to beat Ireland, but yesterday for me showed that England have no one in the team to settle things is they are under presure, like KP......Yes KP I will keep bringing this up as I think its flucking crazy a guy as good as him was left out the team ECB need to get a grip
