I honestly believe that after today we will go on a run now, i'm looking forward too seeing more of the likes of Suso and the Gerrard of yesterday, along with Suarez, Raheem and Allen doing a tidy job too..
Reina almost saved that penalty too...
We are Liverpool football club and if it weren't for silly Shelvey and a hesitant Referee who was a bit thrown off from the occasion then I believe we would of won that game.
We will do ok now....
The worst is behind us

Whatever turns you on mate.
As i said, thats my opinion,if you want to be sarky i have no problem with that, but here's my reply all the same.
Reina is 3rd/4th choice for spain, big entertainer, lax goalkeeper,over-rated massively by a lot of our contingent.
Enrique, who thinks he's playing fifa street soccer.
Joe cole, drinker and ill disciplined keeping fit, who's body is shot before its time, and values that and his wage packet more than his football.
Johnson, good going forward, but gets caught out time and again on the counter.
Henderson,crap positioning,useless at forward thinking.
Downing, inconsistant and won't get any better, you'd think he would be at 28,one season wonder at villa.
Apart from hendo, the rest are experienced internationals.
Agger never plays a season, skrtel switches off, lucas, borini, kelly all out for a while, clumsy carra to cover, and some of our lads are still thinking we're gonna be picking up points like a tesco clubcard's goin outta fashion.
It's just not going to click, despite the optimism and PR machine turning its wheels frantically.
I'm braced for the worst season LFC have ever had, starting with going out of the league cup tomorrow at the hawthorns.
But as long as the soundbites keep coming, that should be enough to keep most reds happy.
Goals win games, not stats and possession, the same problems remain from previous years.

Reina over rated??
Some seasons he was our best player, like by miles!!
Hendo is 21
Downing not good enough for us
But like I said
We have Sterling coming through, Suso didnt like it was his first PL start yesterday, Gerrard proved that he isnt past it and even Suarez yesteday was passing more and trusting those around him...

There is no substitute for quality, thats the way it is,and always will be.
....
Oh i agree, but the onus will be to add to that quality every season. Its a building process and that takes time. Unfortunately, we've had more false dawns than most but I think the framework has never been stronger.

Reina may have a few golden gloves, but that was more down to the defence in front of him at the time than it being a solo acheivement.
Sterling and suso will burn out if not handled carefully,as they are still forming physically,a lot of pressure applied on them already due to the lack of options.
If suarez and stevie are not scoring, who else is going to chip in with an actual end product??

tat: very good, but how about answering the actual question I asked?
1. What is the truth we need to be told about our performances ?
2. Which players are "half-hearted" as you put it?
I actually agree with some of your points ( in particular Joe Cole and Enrique )

The performances are all very pretty looking on the eye and on paper, but arsenal get criticised by some of our own for never winning anything.
Give me results over performance anyday, thats why the top 4 are the top 4,they get results even when they play like muck,we have no win at all costs mentality.
Reina, downing, enrique, cole,to name a few,all taking big pay cheque's,as well as the contesters not being any better in attitude or ability, its just not funny anymore, january will be extremely important not just for bringing in players but also attracting them with our league position at that time.
The FSG consortium have to make top,top signatures a
priority if given the chance, and none of this we will pay what we think rubbish.

Hmmm, I had you down as a bit of a wum, yet you raise some valid points.
Can't see January being all that busy in terms of buys, purely because it's a sellers market then.

The points of a red for over 30 years, dempsey was never going to be our saviour, but at least he was an extra option for the sake of a few million, which lets be honest, its nothing these days to clubs, and some goals from him in games could of been the difference between 3 points and none, which we know could end up paying that extra million or two back with interest.
In light of our injuries now,we look extremely lightweight, and if suarez picks up anymore cards,it blunts our attack even more.
I'm not impressed at all with FSG's attitude and sloppiness of running LFC from across the pond, they got the club on the cheap, promise big things but don't follow it up,i feel like they are mugging us off with excuses and stage managing our expectations,we are LIVERPOOL FC a worldwide brand with a huge fanbase and one of the most succesful clubs in the world, thats why wums infest our board,it's already there for them, this thrifty attitude will make it harder to get back to the top end,and i gave up my season ticket last year because i no longer want to pay towards this bull-sheite.
