Walcott is a better FORWARD then Gervinho

Would like to see Walcott to start against Chelsea.

I want to see Giroud start. His strength is an asset and he now has a goal. Gervinho/Walcott on the wing. Gerv has done decent so far, but Walcott always does well against Chelsea.

Definitely do not want Gervinho starting against Chelsea. He has a annoying habit of doing all the hard work by skipping past players for fun and then facking it up when it matters the most. So irritating to watch.

You could argue it was partially because of his indecisiveness, poor touch and poor finishing that we couldn't get all 3 pts against City.

I don't mind Gerv playing against midtable or relegation threatened sides. But when it comes to the big games, he should be on the bench in my view.

I just remembered they both had great games against Chelsea last year at the Bridge. I think Gerv set up RvP's first goal and was involved in one of Theo's goals.

Gervinho also missed a virtually open goal against Chelsea and squandered several other decent chances. The assist for Robin was mainly due to that clever defence-splitting pass from Ramsey.

He had a mixed game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. But that's irrelevant now.

His general game is too erratic and if we're going to beat Chelsea, we cannot be wasteful in the final third. Gervinho, unfortunately, is.

Samir i agree, we cant be so wasteful against Chelsea.

What is promising for me, is that his getting into those postion and hopefully he can add a bit of calumnious and composure to his game in front of goal.
