Silva v Bonner - joke

It's a replacement for the main event as Aldo withdrew injured. So to keep the event alive they used their biggest draw: Anderson Silva.

But how on earth they came up with Bonnar as a worthy opponent? Not a clue (especially considering he's not fought for 11 months).

Good luck to him though: he's going to need it.

SIlva should coast to a win. It'll be interesting to see if he can actually finish Bonnar, as he is yet to be KO'd or submitted in his pro career.

I'm backing Silva,there's not many fighters from LHW down,that i would back against him,but I don't think Bonner is a joke in anyway.

I'd back Bonner against nearly every other MW in the sport.

Bonners is a top 20 LHW,fighting a MW(granted no normal MW,but a MW all the same)who's also on a 3 fight win streak,where he has looked absolutely dominant in all 3 of them.

Bonners is much bigger,he's already fought the very best LHW's in the sport,4 LHW Champions, and hasn't embarrassed himself in any of those fights.

Against Machida,the fight was stopped due to a cut,Forrest was one of the closest and best fights in the sport,Against Evans,he got a draw from one judge and won a round on the other judges card and he is the first fighter to win a round against Jon Jones,he's not winning any UFC titles but he's a good fighter.
