New Yorks signings

Dr, delighted with Brooks. He will be a spark fir us. Plunkett - Has been out of form and time to grow up. Under Moxon I think he may flourish as he has the talent.

Both look a bit of a gamble to me, but for the first time in god knows how long Yorkshire don't seem to have a long line of fast bowlers waiting in the wings. Brooks looks a good bowler but has his injury problems and as yet hasn't really been tested for too long in Div 1. Plunkett is a massive gamble, not only in terms of getting him on the pitch but looking after him off the pitch. Both if they pay off will be great singings but to me it's a huge gamble going for both of them.

yes, for me Yorkie Brooks is a good signing - keen to do well and earn an England call up. Plunkett sure does need to clean up his act BUT if he gets into the groove is as good a county bowler as anyone. Lets hope Siders has a bit more energy to keep going for this coming year, but for me Bresnan may be available a bit more - I can't really see him being picked for England too often in the future as Finn picks that bowling spot with Broad and Anderson hanging on.

great start to champs league for the Yorkies - and another good knock from Miller, think he looks very useful. Bowling was good but i thought for awhile there we had blown it with the batting which was generally poor....

Great performance from the young Yorkshire lads beating a strong T&T side to qualify for the main CL. Rashid performing under pressure with the bat 2 games in a row and Balance was just brutal

yeah bowling looks good again. Just need that batting to start to function as once again the top order got blown away. But at least we are there, unlike Hampshire....
