I mean we knew last season Forster was only here on loan, then in the summer we knew he wasn't coming, then Lenny tells Zaluska he's No. 1, then tells him he his "holding the fort", then he brings in some Belgian guy who has now disappeared, then a Croatian keeper on trial who doesn't have one save to make, then we are linked with some 21 year old Polish guy who...wait for it...is coming for a trial...and then Zaluska is told he is playing on Sunday! The guys confidence must be shot to pieces!!!! Why has this been allowed to happen when we knew a year ago we needed somebody in? Lenny I trust you but this is not good!

Why did we not try the third choice goalkeeper in Australia? What is the point in having him if he will not even get a chance in pre-season?

Why don't we just offer Newcastle a decent price for Forster?
He did well last season and I don't believe they wouldn't sell. If we don't buy him watch Lambert snap him up for Norwich.
Last season it looked as though the club was too big for Zaluska but to play Stipe on Sunday they would have to give him a contract which will probably take weeks to negotiate.

And we know how well the SFA are at processing registrations? So, I am going to back Zaluska rather than write him off. It is only fair I give him a chance, I mean we have given worse players chances (Samaras).

The really good ones are hard to come by. He's got talent but maybe not the required mentality for an Old Firm side.

I wonder how much wee craigie whyte would take for Mcgregor....

Captain, perhaps we could help Whytey's biscuit tin with a few bucks with a cheeky wee bid for Mcgregor...perhaps start off with a bid of 350k. Lol. Actually, wouldn't mind seeing Neil Alexander there because despite his lack of professionalism, he's a good goalie.

Celtic couldnae even afford Alexander!

Lenny wanted Forster. Probably thought he just had to make a bid. My brother-in-law is a Toon fan and he says that Pardew simply won't sell to the SPL cos he doesn't rate it. We could put in a bid of double what we offered and Pardew wouldn't do business.
So Lenny had probably worked on the idea that Forster would be the goalie, and has now got to work quick to fill the gap. Not saying it was a great move by Lenny, just my take on it. Hope to he'll we do get someone better than Zaluska

Alba, why wound Pardew not sell to the SPL because he doesn't rate it? Surely, money is money no?
