I assume that a full barrage of investigations, bans, fines, and other "consequences" will be getting screamed for given:

Only fair after all.....
So, for sporting integrity etc

Well, yeah. If they dont pay it.
If not then they can go under as well, just like Rangers did. Will they reappear as a new club though (again, just like Rangers)? I doubt it.

I can't see what you're getting your knickers in a twist about here.
If this is indeed the situation then they will get what they deserve. Either pay her maj or go into admin. If they then can't agree a package they'll fold and go to the third division and start afresh like you boys, with the same punishments as you got.
Rangers case was a test case - if anyone else goes then we all follow the same path.
And by the way dc1, your OP and comments make you sound almost giddy at the prospect of other clubs folding. That's quite sad.

Ivan - not "giddy" at all - as I said, I don't want anyone to lose their jobs.
Just very strange at the relative lack of coverage of the financial problems now continuing to affect the entire SPL....
Yet another example of SPL not being "fit for purpose".
Hearts - you did not pay your players on time, so you have a transfer embargo.
2 days later ---
Hearts- you did not pay your players on time AGAIN, so you have a transfer embargo.....
Do something wrong, get a slap on the wrists. Do the same thing wrong again, get same slap on wrists.

Tell me about it! Theres something very fishy goin' on down Govan way but for some reason the papers are ignoring it.

The entire SPL?
Teams like Killie and Hearts have been in financial difficulty for some time. That's been well publicised.
I don't really buy newspapers now so I'll not act like I know what coverage this current Hearts fiasco has had, but every time they have failed to pay their players they've made back page news and have been rightly criticised for it. There have been calls to give them heavy punishments.
As far as I can see they have been punished. Personally I think the punishment they've been given is a joke given that they weren't going to be able to sign anyone anyway but it's a good marker for when windows open.
What more do you want to see be done to them?

Ooooft! Bye bye Hearts... Well be in Div2 while that turkey roasts in Div 3... If we vote to allow them in

Read Hearts statement again. They said the "company" would be in trouble if subject to the tax bill. Not the club.
Here we go again. Another numpty that either doesn't understand the difference or doesn't want to
