We can't really complain, there was no point in the whole evening where i thought we looked like winning. As soon as i seen the 4-5-1 i've got to admit i had my doubts, i sort of hoped for a while after their shot that hit the post then went straight into the goalies hands that lady luck was maybe gonna be on our side, but no
Even when Hearts went down to 10 men we didn't take advantage, surely that was the perfect time to change to 4-4-2 and get Skacel on?? So i'm gonna have a few gripes.
1. I think the players are starting to play on the whole slow start thing far too much, thinking it'll all be ok after xmas is not good enough anymore this is the fourth year running. They almost play like a team who are waiting for their season to kick in
2. There are a lot of decent teams out there this season Hibs, Aberdeen, ICT and St Johnstone to name a few, i'm starting to get worried that our laxx slow start will cost us top 6 this year. I've heard a few players using this excuse and its just not good enough its november now, the season start ages ago get the finger oot
3. The foul on GMS as soon as he came on, now i don't think Webster should have walked for that, but where's the differance from the Neilson on Samaras straight red last year
4. So what do we do?? I have always stood up for Houston, but this season we seem to be much worse i mean 3 goals in 7 games is a bit desperate if we are honest, maybe it is time for a change i don't know maybe Houston himself is starting to feel he has done as much as he can at United, i do believe we will improve (i'm starting to sound like the players ) but i had high hopes at the start of this season, but they are fading fast. Ideally i can't see any other team than Dundee going down, so i think we have to give Houston time, but had this been any other season we'd be 1 point off the bottom
5. Fixtures just what the f#ck is going on, i live 120 miles from tannadice how is anyone suppossed to make plans
6. Well done to ICT i hope they go on and win it now as they've never won it before, but i can't help but feel that especially after Hearts went down to 10 men that if the players were in full swing, instaed of going about things in slow season mode, and Houston had wen't 4-4-2 and fired on Skacel we'd be in the hat next week
Roll on January
As ever, P2BAA any thoughts out there
Oot the cup :-(

Wasn't Daly your highest scorer last season?
You guys should have listened when we told you he was a poor man's Levein.
Anyway you can get Levein back next week.
Hopefully.

Yeah Daly was the highest scorer last year, but i've got to admit he has been playing well at the back, and we have stopped leaking so many goals, but there is no doubt we are having trouble scoring but hopefully Skacel will do a job for us
I don't think Levein will get the boot TBH, doubt we could afford him back at tanny anyway

Couldn't afford him?
I don't think his stock has risen since he left D.U.

As per usual for Houston he blamed the players last night with no responsibility by himself.
Against 10 men the obvious move was to send Daly up front.
But this idiot prefers to keep a back four against one attacker.
And then compounds it by replacing Daly with another defender.
And to make it worse doesnt allow Skacel to take a penalty because of 'the situation'.
The sooner Thompson tells this fool he wont be renewing his contract the better.
