The imminent arrival of Vucinic and the supposed interest in Adebayour (sort of confirmed by Harry) has got me tyhinking about what Harry plans to do next season. In my opinion the only way you could fit VDV/Vucinic/Adebayour all into the team would be a 4-4-3

This line up would leave us with a ridiculously strong bench, but also would surely mean the end of Crouch and Defoe. Pav would be used as the back up as he is more of a targetman than defoe, and more mobile than crouch. If Harry is thinking this it would tie in wityh why we have offered Pav a new contract, why Harry always harps on about Bale being a left back, and would mean we could potentially cash in on Azza - who harry fell out with during the real madrid debacle.

i feel really bad saying that defoe should go... he has given us lots of great movements and i believe that he has an affiliation with the club.
he has scored 100 goals for us and we have a place in his heart.
its just sad that his current form is so abysmal and it probably is best if he moves on.
i would happily keep pav and defoe though and replace crouch and keane with top quality players.

SSS - I didn't say it couldn't happen
I heard the number of subs is being reduced to 5 this season. With 2 keepers on the bench that will leave Harry a little short of options.

No keep Defoe, coz he's a tryer, and 'tryer strikers' (new term, you guys can use it) will always have a good spell
Whereas Pav and Crouch are just hopeless at football
