MKD v AFCW in FA Cup?

Here we go again . It's going to happen one day... so let's get it over and done with. We'd be playing them here.

Their statement is nice and self important. "While we would rather not have been drawn in this tie..." etc. (http://www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/news/article/club-statement-on-fa-cup-draw-466038.aspx)

Thoughts?

bathtub - you must be very excited, 192 posts and counting on this thread. More than you ever seem to have had on your rant blog which by my counting has attracted zero comments. What a sad life you must be leading. Still, looking forward to seeing you at the game supporting your team. laugh

Plough - "I told you, I'm not playing nice any more."

I wonder what form 'not playing nice' will take. Writing more on his blog, I guess.

Plough, because when I was discussing the protest at the Plough Lane move, both you and Classy said it was pointless (but that was on BBC 606, so can't present the actual comments

Even more cruel words from Eric ""We have never been in the third round. I'd rather focus on how well we've done and whether we can do something we've never done before."

So even he doesn't think Wmbledon FC are anything to do with AFC Wimbledon.

And reading the article it was decided some time ago that the AFC Board and the Don Trust would not accept hospitality, so there was never a question that Eric woul shake Pete's hand.

So Eric lied when he said he would shake hands if Pete dropped the Dons name,

quote from Bath"Man, if it's like this already, you boys are going to have a really awful couple of weeks. "

With just 3 days to go, a quick recap.

A number of papers have run with afew tame stories, all confirm the Club moved to Milton Keynes

The AFC Wimbledon Chairman has confirmed he doesn't see Wimbledon FC as part of AFC Wimbledon FC

A large number of AFC Wimbledon fans have bought tickets to the game.

Yet another prediction from Mystic Bath that has not come about.

I just hope he doesn't predict an MK Dons victory otherwise the lads might as well not bother turning up!!

Bubbles quote, "You should stop worrying about me and start worrying about the deep divisions this is going to cause in Milton Keynes."

I'm still waiting.

A deep division. well there was one fan at the Forum who stuck his hand up and wanted the name change, as Pete said if he changed te name, AFC would only want something else.
