Time to drop him I'm afraid. Last (half) decent game he had was against Barnsley thats just not good enough.
Shocking last night cant remember him touching the ball to be honest. Maybe knackered
Midfield is dire out of all the midfielders brought to club they are all poor.
Norris
Green
Austin
Tongue
All very average players no match winner there. We need a dominant midfielder who has pace and can change games (Nobody please mention Clayton cos he wasnt that good)
Rodolph Austin

He needs resting, he shouldn't have gone off on international duty to be honest. He needs to be told to go home, book a holiday and dont turn up to training till after next weekend.
There is a difference between dropping a player and resting them.
And with him its a ret that he needs

austin is not good enough to be blunt. he hardly contributes to any play or attacks on goal and his defending is very sloppy at times.

Tez, why don’t you crawl back under the rock you came from

Huddersfield should remember its a marathon not a sprint. Let see where you are at the end of the season.
Graysons teams always falter after Christmas. We should know!!!

Austin is pretty much sleepwalking! He is cleary knackered. Having played over half a season already, these back to back games and internationals are piling up! When he came he was immense, but the above factors coupled with the fact that this league is way more demanding, has left him literally on the cusp of the fabled "RED ZONE!"
Neil shouldnt drop him but give him extended leave, because we cannot afford to have weak links. a 2 match break is what may be needed to get the old Rudy back, because when he isnt dominating the midfield we play rubbish.

diktates, you obviously havent paid attention to the season because most Leeds fans see Rudy as a fantastic signing. Before he got exhausted he was competing with Diouf for man of the match week in week out.
I suggest you watch ALL the games prior to the most recent international break! Because all you will see is a beast of a midfielder with an eye for goal, good long range passes and a threat in the air...just ask Fellaini

He's knackered simple as.
His performance against Wednesday showed this, but he was still in the starting line up the next game...

Ima big fan of Austin and want to say he's brilliant, but.........he has played poorly recently and dosnt contribute a lot, havent seen too many Austin rugby tackles either.........
It could be down to his fitness, but it could be down to the fact that were uesless and he's playing on his own effectively. He's prorbaly a standard up from this level

mattyp - thanks to Rodolph, his country have qualified for the Final Round qualifiers for the World Finals; Austin has every right to want to play for his country in these games.
