It's clear from the 3 articles above which clubs have the BIGGEST fan base, and who's supporters are willing to put their hand in their pocket and spend the money to SUPPORT their club. It's also clear who the real plastics are.
I hate to say this but it truly is embarrassing from Citeh fans. Just goes to show you can buy a trophy but you can't buy loyalty. I hope this is treated with maturity by the citeh fans, that they take a long hard look at themselves and not resort to the bitterness that eats away at them
So much for your loyal support

My dad's bigger than your dad topics really are tiresome and only started by children or adults with a childs mentality. Surely there must be some kiddie site they can go and play on.

leave mr nineteen alone.
didn't you see his articles the last two years saying that liverpool fans were more loyal than mutd fans because they were buying more torres shirts??
the only reason torres didn't outshine granny sh@gger was that he moved to chealse in january. had he stayed at lfc, he'd have been top shirt seller again.

This is something that has bugged me for ages about the modern day football fan in britain, buying merchandise = true fan, the premier league must love this new type of consumer... er, sorry "fan" who have taken over football over the past 10 years or so.
Buying tickets to games, fair enough, but buying the new away shirt for 50 quid or lampshades, bedspreads and patio furniture with your teams logo on it doesn't make you a football supporter i'm afraid,it makes you a consumer, they're not the same thing.

Exactly, sorry NIPPLE-ED, but buying a shirt doesn't make you a 'loyal fan'. Frankly I think it's ridiculous most clubs now bring out a new home shirt every season.
