I know its unfair...

just to single out a few players but my god how good was Wanyama and Forster last night!!!

FFS...Victor, against THAT midfield, was outstanding. I know we will struggle to keep him but surely we can expect top dollar for a player destined for great things.

Fraser...again..saves out of the very top drawer. His one handed save from Messi was truly world class.

Watt will rightly steal the headlines - amazing for the lad and unlucky not to shake off the def for a second, but I thought Miku and Matthews were very good last night in a team full of great performances.

The best bit was this was no fluke. The first goal was planned. Lennon had it spot on. Alba zonal marking at the back post...send Victor there. Defender goes off...send on a striker to run at the defence. Superb!

Neil, the backroom staff and every single one of those players deserve every bit of praise they will get today for that stunning result.

Hangover well and truly underway, but pocket full of winnings from correctly predicting 2-1 helps easy the pain...

Thank you Celtic...thank you Neil Lennon...

Fans...world class!!

Their game isn't really about crossing from wide areas so invariably it would get moved inside just for the same pattern to start all over again.

Spot on.

Agreed CB...at first I was wondering why no one was out blocking the crosses as Alba and especially Alvez had tons of room but it became apparent that they were not going to swing in the ball, rather recycle and start again..

Fantastic reading of how opponents will play.

CB

Barca put a man on each line, hoping that the full backs would come tight, thus leaving massive gaps for their midfield to exploit - Fortunately Celtic/Lennon were well briefed on what NOT to do.

Just read this

Wanyama made more tackles than any other Celtic player against Barça and committed just a single foul, which suggests astounding self-control.

Which is brilliant

Unfortunately it came from an article suggesting Manu should buy him

Guys in my club were screaming at Mathews all night long to mark the winger

No one would bat an eyelid if he went for more - He's well worth his weight in Gold.

lennon should be applauded for his tactics that ultimately won us the game

Moving the full backs in was a masterstroke , they almost never just speculate with the ball with a ball into the box - and we allowed them the width knowing so...it was brilliant homework if you ask me .

also isolating Alba knowing he marks zonally at the back post at corners was also great homework .

You set up with tactics but it was clear that what we had to couple this with was -great performances and we got that

Wilson , Foster , matthews - excellent at the back

Wanyama - awesome ..Jamie Rednapp called him the fireman just going around putting out fires

And Miku - some lovely little touches throughout the game and to be honest in that area thats exactly what we needed .
