If both managers were to leave their respective clubs at the end of this season, regardless of their league position, which club do you think will make an easier transition to new management and why?
Imo i did pick Arsenal for 2 reasons
1. Wenger has successfully divided the fans into those that want him gone asap and those that still belive hes the man for the job. In other words hes leaving will be welcome by some fans who belive getting a new manager is the only way forward. I agree with this school as i feel we are badly in need of fresh ideas and new tactics. So imo getting a new manager can only benefit us.
2. Every utd success in the past 20 yrs or so is down to fergie. The whole club has had to depend on the questionable influence he has had on both the FA and referees. Sometimes he has been able to conceal this influence in ways only he knows, but most times he has been unashamedly blatant with his bullying tactics esp of refs. Also the kind of god-like fear he has instilled in all his teams will certainly be hard to replicate for any of his successors even mourinho.

United, because they will spend money to back the new boss.
Plus, with United not have won anything for 2 years come the end of the season, the new man will be in a win win situation.

United should cope better, simply because they are light years ahead of Arsenal in terms of the players they possess as is shown every time they face each other on a football pitch and when the points are counted at the end of season.

Utd depends on fergie too much to be able to still be a force after he leaves.

So Mourinho wouldn't be successful at United? Only Fergie can be?

Mourinho didnt win trophies by bullying refs. It will be hard for at a club that built its present dynasty on that.
