Just a matter of the team gelling and everyone raising their game. He's not been great but name me 3 players that look to be somewhere near top form this season....

We've let in too many goals and in his role as a DM he's surely partly to blame? I've excused caulker as he's the junior member in a new CB partnership

I hope I'm wrong but I think dempsey is going to turn out to be another Pienaar. A great player in a mid-table team but turns out to be nothing special when he makes the step up to a bigger team.

Since when were everton a mid table side? And peinaar runs the show for them....

They are above us so let's give them a little more respect. Also peinaar was barely given a chance at spurs. Had no real run of games so no surprise he flopped

The problem is the same for anybody we sign that plays wide left like Pienaar or Dempsey does.

Neither of them is a patch on what we are used to (Bale) so they are never going to make a good impression

He's never going to be a LM in a 4-man midfield in a million years. In a 433 you could see him playing on the left and driving in, much like Arsensl do with Gervinho/Podolski/Walcott.

Unfortunately that way of playing suits our best players as much as the Kappa kits suited beer-gutted 40yr olds. The only way we're ever going to play that way properly is if Bale goes to LB and Lennon is dropped.

^...I'm certainly not advocating that either. 442/4411 with both wingers on their correct sides picking up balls from positions where they can cause damage.
