He won't be able to sell him the state he's in, and releasing him would cost a lot I'd imagine.

He shouldn't be given a squad number after January if he can't be relied upon, and should see out the remainder of the season either playing with the U21s or - if he's can prove his fitness - out on loan in some French backwater.

His place in the squad should be filled by someone else, even if it means recalling fackin' Denilson.
