Rangers apparantly offered to pay £500k to Hearts immediately and kill the debt of £800k. Hearts refused. Now, I'm not saying this was a hand of friendship but was it opportunistic or was it sound business.Personally I don't think we owe Hearts any favours, Romanov has been highly critical of both sides of Old Firm and Scottish football in general and they may just regret this knock back as I don't see them raising £2m+ which is what they need.

Gotta laugh....
It is sound business and common practise. I invoice my clients every 4 weeks and offer a 3% discount if paid within 4 weeks and as we invoice in advance it win win. I have a positive cashflow and my clients save money.
Keep up the good work Charles my man Green
Welcome back Ish

So Charles Green offer to SAVE hearts is being viewed in a negative manner! Hahaha turkeys and xmas indeed!
If you owe money and offer to pay it early then there is ALWAYS a discount! So its common practice, I applaud Mr Green for firstly making the offer and secondly for having the cash available!

Bravis you do realise that all transfers in world football are paid in instalments over a period of years usually don't you?
You do realise you currently owe money to Newcastle for the transfer of Forster don't you? If Newcastle ran into financial trouble tomorrow would your club be a shower for offering to pay early at a discount?
